The next workshop will be from September 28th to 30th in Paris. It will be organized by Georges Debrégeas on the topic of functional imaging. Parallel to the workshop will be two meetings between the Steering Committee and the Supervisory Board of SmartNets on September 29th.
The workshop starts September 28th (Wednesday) at 13:30 with an introdution and the basics of imaging techniques. This is followed by four 3 hour long hand-on workshops on:
- Confocal imaging on a clarified sample
- Deep imaging with two-photon microscopy
- Light-sheet based whole-brain functional imaging
- Two-photon holographic optogenetic stimulation
All workshops will take place on the P&M Curie Campus of Sorbonne Université (address: 4 place Jussieu, 75005 Paris), the first two will be at the fish facility and the last two will take place at the Laboratoire Jean Perrin. We will end on Friday (September 30th) with a debrief session from 12:00-13:00.
The SmartNets Network Steering Committee Meeting will take place on Thursday (September 29th) from 14:00 to 15:00. This meeting is followed by the SmartNets Supervisory Board Meeting from 15:00 to 16:00.
